Unattended Fires Cause Wildfire Concern
Leaving fires unattended while embers are still active presents a significant risk to our local community. Even when a fire appears to be out on the surface, hot embers can remain deep within the burn area and reignite, especially under dry or windy conditions. Wind greatly increases the likelihood of embers spreading beyond the intended burn area, potentially causing uncontrolled fires that threaten homes, property, and personal safety.
Please ensure all fires are fully extinguished and cold to the touch before leaving them unattended. If burning is unavoidable, please closely monitor the fire at all times, thoroughly extinguish it afterward, and check weather conditions and forecasts in advance—particularly wind advisories or dry conditions.
Your cooperation is essential to maintaining the safety and well-being of our community.

December Meeting Overview
William Harrison led a busy and productive meeting held at the Heeter residence. The Board had some important matters for discussion and resolutions regarding dues revenue collecting and an inquiry for document inspection by a member.. See Agenda for our December meeting.
The issue of our current need for increased revenues to keep pace with rising road maintenance costs will be addressed with our membership at the annual meeting in July. Please plan to attend so your voice is heard.
Thank you to Kathy McManus and Jeff Ogden for providing a variety of pastries and bagels with lox and cream cheese.
Road Committee Updated Membership
President William Harrison thanked John Robinson, Road Committee Chair, for his good work and dedication to keeping our roads maintained. Recognizing that John has been charged solely with this responsibility since former Road Chair, Jack Bechtel, left the community, President Harrison called for volunteers to help with the formidable task. Jeff Ogden and Cliff Heeter stepped forward.
Community contacts for any roadwork concerns should be directed to John Robinson, Jeff Ogden, or Cliff Heeter. Their contact info can be found here.
A BIG shout out to Director Cliff Heeter for his work in scraping our roads during the snow event in early February! Thank you!

Annual Budget for 2026 Approved
The Annual Budget developed for 2026 considers that we have been outspending our revenue to maintain our roads. You can find the 2026 Annual Budget here.
Please review it and consider the impact that our recommendations pose for raising our revenue and coming up with creative methods for maintaining and improving our roads. The Annual Budget will be an item for discussion at our July Annual Membership meeting. Please direct any questions or concerns you may have to any Board member.
